Been playing with python today. Not in the mood to say much, so this’ll be short.
Did this bloody paper, started playing with PyGTK. I wish it had a better documentation. The current one, quite frankly, sucks monkey nuts.
Expect my time travel theory tomorrow.
Didn’t work on the SNS at all today, or work on Owlog. I meant to, but shit happened.
Made another attempt at learning pyhon tonight. Going fairly well, except for the fact that I keep getting sidetracked and making scripts to play with what the book just talked about. I think I’ll just skip ahead into functions/objects, then into Tkinter and see if I can make a simple program.
Book is dull. Playing with the code is fun. It could use a few more code examples, though. And when it sticks something as fun as sys.argv in my face, I’D LIKE A BIT OF FUCKING INFO!
I mean, I get this idea. Then I can’t pull the idea off, because the book only touched it and then walked away. I dug through and found what I needed, but it was pissing away my time.
So maybe in the next few days I’ll release my simple program. In all likelyhood it will be a window that comes up and lets you rot1 your text, or something..
No school today. Woke up at 11, found the mySQLd fscked up, yelled at the host for awhile.
Did some work on the SNS today. I know, I know. Simple news system, shouldn’t take any time at all, eh? Well, I’m lazy. I get up and walk around every other line of code.
Got Linus’ book today. About half way through, pretty good. Just getting to the part where he starts development on linux. You know, Linus had an interesting childhood. o-O
Yea. And now I need to sort of rant/bitch about stuff.
More than one person has been wondering when I would put something interesting up here. Besides the fact that I’m terribly interesting, this is what I orginally intended to put here. Yes, that’s right. Last may or june, I got the hosting to put up my personal site. Before broker started with his cyberpets bullshit, before I hosted various other sites.
Well, if you don’t think I’m using my spot on the web to its full advanage, go to hell. I have a bunch of small projects in subfolders, which most of you will never see because you don’t ask. ‘m also planning something with Phreak, but I’m unsure of who will do the hosting.
Anyways, I have some work to do on this site still. Although I have declared it ‘done’, I do need to add searching through blog posts, a better archive, and a decent projects / texts page. I’ll probably end up dumping the files section and add a Text section and a Project section. Yea.

First off, I need to bitch about Kim Kammando. For those who don’t know, this stupid whore has a ‘computer help’ radio show, and is the self proclaimed ‘computer goddess’.
If you ask me, the dumbass should go work for microsoft. They only give a handful of answers for every question, as does the ‘computer goddess’. Here are a few examplex…
Caller: Hi kim. My kumputer broke. Why do you need to be a lame ass and spell your last name with k?
Kim: Good question caller. You should run adaware. Now here, have a copy of my digital photo book. Bye!

Yep. Moving on, Phreak made an attempt at ordering parts for his new computer today. Aparently, the creditcard he was using couldn’t take it all at once. =X
Also finished reading the userfriendly archives. Bwahaha. BWAHAHA. MWAHAHAHAH. Fear me.

Mm, not too much going on today. Worked on some shit for cybit (damn complex, I’ll tell you…), sat around.
Did hear something I need to rant about on the news, though. Both Bush and Clinton knew about 9-11, and they didn’t do jack shit. They /ignored/ this dude who was in charge of telling them when this shit was guna hit the fan, too.
So this brings me to a though - Why the fuck do you people fucking need to vote for either a Republican or a Democrat? Kerry is an idiot. Bush is an idiot. They should both DIE. Yet one of them will be sitting in the oval office with an intern after the election.
Why, though? Could it be because the entire nation thinks ‘Oh, only a democrat or a republican can win. So if I vote for a candidate who has some testicals and doesn’t flipflop on all of the issues, or say something stupid, I’ll be wasting my vote. But then again, my vote won’t matter. Bush or Kerry will win anyways, right?’
SO SINCE YOUR VOTE WON’T FUCKING COUNT, VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE, JUST FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES! Assholes.
