The twenty-five thousand word mark has been reached, putting me at 50% completion.
And it’s only day eight. Jesus.
Mind War at 25,154 words.

Yes, folks, I have won yet another battle, but I have yet to win the war.
Since it’s a normal weekday, I only shot for two thousand additional words, making up chapter five. I really hated writing this chapter. A lot. Jesse Helms is a self-seving, egotistical, paranoid, AND EXCESSIVELY FUCKING BORING man. I will try and kill him off in a very sadistic way come the end of the book.
I plan on producing 3k tomorrow, since I’ll have the entire evening dedicated to writing. And that will place me just above twenty five thousand words, or slightly over half way to my goal. In a fucking week. Hoooleeey shit.
So go and get updated on how the president is doing: Mind War, at 22,125 words.
My fine readers, I have equalled yesterday’s total words written, adding another five thousand words to the story. At the very end, I managed to finally squeeze in a chapter break. I think I’m going to pay a visit to President Helms for chapter five.
There’s a CT Shoreline NaNo meetup this Wednesday at Cosi’s which I plan on attending.
I also went for afternoon tea today. <3 Celtica.
So that’s about it. Go read Mind War, which now ranks in at an astonishing 20,125 words.
Five thousand words have been added to the story. I cannot write anymore today.
Sleep is required.
Mind War at 15,062 words.
I’ve gone and broken the ten thousand word mark two full days ahead of schedule. Go me!
I’ve finally introduced the main character and started fiddling around with him. Please excuse my character development, because…I didn’t do it in advance, so I’m using his first chapter to figure out who he is. If you don’t like it, go to hell.
So yea. I hope it doesn’t suck too badly. I also ran another copy off this morning (it had the 500 or so words I wrote this morning plus whatever from last night) and walked around with it all day, just to be an insufferable jackass.
By this point in time, I think that I’m doing a damn good job of annoying the crap out of certain acedemic over-achievers, but that’s really not my problem. If you don’t like the fact that I’m better than you in every way imaginable, and I can be better than you without putting any effort into it…oh well. I win. =D

But yea. I digress. Go read Mind War, weighing in at 10,132 words.
