So yea. OwlManAtt is now employed as a programmer for DSL.net. So, you know, I’ve actually got stuff to /do/ this summer. Amazing, innit?
Neorus is also back. I am, of course, working on that again.
No more work is being done on Crown at the moment. Too much other stuff going on. Evanion-base has once AGAIN been delayed! Oh well.

A few days ago, I dropped an ad on Apex’s forums whoring my coding skills. I didn’t expect anything back from that - I was way too picky about the sort of project and people I wanted to work on/with.
As you can see, there was one person who posted a reply telling me that he would contact me in a month. I told him to go strait to hell, because he obviously didn’t read the bit about me not wanting to work with douchebags who run around and call everyone a faggot when things don’t go their way.
Expecting the reject to be my only offer, I was surprised to get a message via MSN this morning. Someone representing a new petsite, alpha-quality, fairly competent, and had some damn good artwork done.
After a breif Q&A session, I was on board. So expect me to be plugging and hyping the site when it gets closer to release.
Hello, all of you dumbfucks from TWG. I just checked the TWG comments on kronik, and they’re all about my site being listed. So I’m going to pretty much OWN every one of you little bitches in the next few words.
And with all of that said, I now return to normal postings…
What I’m about to state is all gathered from one person, who was involved in the following incident. I was in no way, shape, or form involved. I do not garentee the objectiveness of the following content. Hell, I haven’t even verrified from a second source if any of it is /true/. But I trust my sources enough to give you a breif bit on it and a responce.
There was an incident in school today. During the art class of another grade, there was some unwanted contact between peop;le of opposite genders. (Yes, I know that sounds bad. It really isn’t as terrible as that wording sounds, I mearly want to be vauge in case someone checks this and decides to sue me for some reason or another.) One party responsible for initiation of the contact blamed a third party who had no involvement so far. With luck, there was a witness.
So at the end of the day, our class spots one teacher with a few studens out in the hall, and DAMN did she look pissed. Mrs. Couden had trouble keeping everyone from running to the door to watch the action.
So, I’m on the bus riding home and I ask one of the people involved wtf was going down. Yes, I know. It isn’t my business. Sue me. Or rather, don’t…
They inform me of the story, and holy shit I was pissed. It wasn’t the ‘fuck you, you peice of shit’ pissed. It wasn’t the ‘ouch that hurt now I’m going to brood’ pissed. It was the ‘HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU DO THAT YOU LITTLE SHIT YOU BETTER SLEEP WITH ONE FUCKING EYE OPEN TONIGHT!’ pissed. Had a certian person been present on the bus, I’m sure I would be in some trouble for starting a fight right now. (And for the record, I have never even been involved in a fight. I’m not the type to start beating on someone, I much rather make them look stupid.)
So why was I angry? This all boils down to a POLITICAL THING. Yes, a political thing. I love politics.
You see, I’m into the equal treatment thing. I’m down with gay rights, womens rights, privacy, the EFF, blablabla. If anyone says they’re being oppressed (and have a valid argument. I’m tired of the whole black-dude-saying-the-cops-beat-him-up-to-gain-publicity thing. Yes, sometimes it happens. But come on, racism isn’t /that strong/ in America.), I’ll support them.
So I was pissed because this one dude did something he shouldn’t. After all of that explaning, I can state my entire opinion in a handful of words. So here they are…
How would he like it happening to him? How would he like to be thought of as a sex toy?
So yea. I was angry. Next topic.
Got into the StarLock beta. Testing begins saturday. I have no idea what I’m testing, but I’ll test it.
I’d also like to touch on cyberpets for a minute. Few enough of you know what went down, as I mostly shut up after the initial posting to keep it from going on forever. I have a paper I could publish that would shit on their reputation, but I don’t want to. Maybe some day, far in the future, as a last will and testement it will be released. But not now.
Ah, but I’m getting off topic. I wanted to point something out. Broker is selling my, our, everyone’s work for $400. According to the staff agreement, he owns the copyright. So I have no choice, eh? Wrong. There is some law saying any minor can declare a contract invalid or something along those lines. Why have I not chosen to do this? Frankly, I don’t know. However often broker wants to say that I never did anything, and that Red did all of the work, he would not have that site today. Sure, red did do a lot of user shit. But without me, he would of had /zero/ administrative tools. I had quite a few intuitive things, along with the standard set of admin tools. You see, everything I did is pretty much hidden away behind admin-only doors. I’ve also done a lot to the main include files. Blablabla. But whatever. I don’t care. Just making this known.
Mm. I’m done for now. I don’t know if I’ll feel motivated enough to post tomorrow. See you when I see you, eh?
Time for a project update. I haven’t given one in a long time. I haven’t even posted in a while. =X
The /cp2 CoE remake was under development, until I got bored and decided to not do anything. Only the regiser, login, logout, and dragon stats pages work. There *is* a lot going on in the background though, so it isn’t like all I did were 5 lines of code.
I’ve also been doing some independent development for kikopets. I wrote them a game, redid two of their scripts, and I’m currently working on a forum. This forum leads me to my next announcement…
I am currently working on OwlForums, another opensource project. The forums will feature the same things as my CoE forums did, except with streamlined backend and a sort of API thing, making it easy to set the forums up for your site.
We also have the SNS. I pretty much forgot all about it. Uhm…Yea.
Oh, and another announcement! I will be redoing this site soon. The code needs some revamping, as I did it when I just started using OO code, so it’s a bit of a mess. I might redo the layout, because it looks horrible in IE. Then again, I might block IE all together and have it show a page on why ANYTHING is better than IE.
